Known for his unique "Golden" voice, Lucio mesmerized those who heard him sing. His rich voice resonating in the cathedrals and churches of Goa while singing the Ave Maria and Ave Verum at family and friends weddings brought tears to many an eye and left his audience awestruck. He was equally comfortable belting out perennial favourites like "Besame Mucho and Those were the days" as he was with Goan Mandos and Portuguese fados.

"Hey Lucio, lets hear a song' was the signature line you inevitably heard at a party when Lucio was around and he would always gracefully oblige,.

Some of us may remember his performances at The Haystack in Arpora or more recently at Cavala in Baga. Wherever he sang, Lucio immediately had a following and left a lasting impression. Lucio’s rendition of old favourites can be found on his one and only CD produced by Remo Fernandes.
